Friday 3rd April
Have a lovely Easter break everyone. Feel free to continue to email if you have any concerns.
Wednesday 1st April 2020
I hope you are all keeping well. I've added a few more pages to Class 5's page - a story book, which is called "Dave the Dog is Worried about Coronavirus", which helps to explain the current situation in a child-friendly way; a page about "How to Keep Safe Online" and a useful home learning hub website where you can access lesson ideas, activity booklets and lots of craft ideas. It includes a suggested timetable too, which is updated daily. Feel free to follow the timetable or adapt it so it is suitable to your child's individual needs.
A big thank you to everyone who has sent me lots of amazing photos of your children working hard and also having fun with their learning.

I hope you are find the school website and class pages helpful in supporting you at home with teaching your child and keeping their learning going as best you can.
Thank you to all of you for your continued support and help. These are difficult times for all of us and we are trying our very best to support you all, in the best way we can.
Please don't put too much pressure on yourselves in your new role as teachers or on your child. You are all doing a great job! Give your child lots of praise and breaks during the day as they get used to their new routines.
Check the website regularly for new information.
Also, incase you have not already seen it, on the website is a useful story book about Coronavirus, which has been written for children. If they are feeling anxious and worried about it, the book explains it to them in a child-friendly way.
