Head's Welcome

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Tiptoe Primary School. We love our school and are sure that you will too!

Tiptoe Primary School is unique and special in many ways. Staff, governors, parents and children work together to make a welcoming and friendly community. The school has a strong family like atmosphere which is evident as soon as you walk through the door. We pride ourselves on knowing all our pupils well. We value each child and as a result of this ethos our children attain high standards academically and a sense of themselves, well equipped for success in their future.

We provide a happy, stimulating environment, where children are eager to learn because they feel involved, interested and can see a purpose for their work. The school is committed to providing a full and balanced curriculum which encourages children to enjoy their learning and develop positive attitudes about themselves whilst caring for others. Learning is at the heart of our school and we aim to ensure that all our children recognise and value their achievements. Our expectations of children are high. We expect excellent behaviour and a high level of independence and self-confidence. It is our aim to create enthusiastic learners who look forward to coming to school and relish challenge.

The school aims to keep parents informed of their children’s progress and the life and work of the school. Parents are encouraged to work with the school, to take an active interest in their child’s education and become involved in school life. Parents are always welcome in school and many help with class activities, reading with children, educational visits and fundraising.

This website will give you some information about our school. We hope you find it interesting and helpful. No doubt there will be questions you would like to ask. Please look through our website, come and visit us and see our school in action!

We look forward to meeting you and your child in person.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Helen Smith,  Headteacher
