Tiptoe School Learning Powers

                  

At Tiptoe School we want our children to be empowered with the skills that will make them  successful life long learners.

They are a golden thread through our curriculum. We teach the children these skills which we call our learning powers! They are skills for life that the children can take forward to their next step in learning and to the future. 

Our learning power characters help the children understand how these skills can be developed and nurtured overtime to support them throughout their lives.

We celebrate our children every day for using their learning powers!

In every classroom there are a set of characters who represent our learning powers. They are;

At Tiptoe School we teach our children the essential skill of collaboration. Through our curriculum we teach the children how to work with others, support their peers and work as a team to achieve a common goal.

At Tiptoe School we teach our children the skill of problem solving across the curriculum. We encourage our children to take risks in all aspects of their learning so that they feel the excitement of finding out something new, feel proud of their successes, and are motivated to have another go!
